About Carl L. Jones
As an attorney with Preovolos Lewin & Hezlep, I have the support of one of the most experienced law firms in San Diego. I specialize in Probate Estate Administration, Trust Administration, Contested Trust Matters, Estate Planning, Guardianships, Conservatorships, Business Formation, and Tax Controversies.
I was born and raised in a small farming community approximately 30 miles west of Salt Lake City, Utah. Hard work and honesty were two traits instilled in me from an early age.
I earned a Bachelor of Science in Communications from the University of Utah and, after an eight-year career as a web programmer, acquired a Juris Doctorate from the University of Montana School of Law. While there, I assisted a committee of prominent lawyers and bankers in passing state-wide legislation that updated antiquated trust laws in Montana. After graduation, I received two merit-based scholarships to study at the University of San Diego School of Law, where I earned a Master of Laws in Taxation (LL.M.).
